Success has remained the same in the surf when the winds are down and wading the shorelines of Matagorda Bay has been great when the winds are up with trout action. Redfish have been schooling up in big numbers along the south shoreline of Matagorda and Espiritu Santo Bay. The best baits have been live croaker and live piggy perch. Looking ahead I hope to get a few more days in the surf, otherwise we will be wade fishing our shorelines or boat fishing the reefs.
