Randy, Paul, Bill and Jim had some quick action on limits of trout with me while wade fishing in Espiritu Santo Bay
The fishing in Port O'Connor still remains great with limits of trout coming every day while wade fishing the shorelines of West Matagorda Bay and Espiritu Santo Bay. Boat fishing for trout has produced near limits to full limits as well, on the reefs and spoils in West Matagorda Bay, deep grass beds in Espiritu Santo Bay and the surf. Most trout have been caught on live croaker, but we have also had some early morning top water action and some success with Electric Chicken Bass Assassins. The water around POC has remained very clear and honestly too clear, so color changes have been key to our success lately.
