As Duck Season is coming to an end with only 2 weeks remaining, my Baffin Bay Trophy Trout season is going to start in one week. It has been a decent duck season, but overall not the greatest. We have had some great hunts with some very fast action, but there were some slow hunts mixed in. I will be wrapping up my duck season this weekend and headed south to chase my favorite "sow trout". I have heard of some decent fishing taking place down in Baffin with a couple of 8 pounders already landed by some friends over the past couple of weeks. This is my favorite time of the year with less people on the water and the higher expectation with success for a fish of a lifetime. I will be running out of Bluff's Landing again this year, so if you are in the area feel free to look me up or give me a call. Also, for those of you that have a trip booked with me, please let me know if you will need lodging and I will get your group set up with Annette and Roger at "the bluff" for all your needs.
