8/03 Wading for Trout & boat fishing for Reds

Well the fishing has continued to be good to great over this past week with nice stringers of trout and decent stringers of redfish.  We have been fishing the south shoreline of Espiritu Santo and San Antonio Bay, as well as the north shoreline of Espiritu Santo bay when the winds are down.  The jelly fish have been bad lately, so if you are planning a trip on your own or coming down to fish with me bring some wading pants to avoid them.  Now that we are in the month of August, I am sure we will be hitting the surf every chance we get for the fast action on trout and reds.  Best baits have been live croaker for trout and live mullet and crab for redfish.  Best artificial baits have been plum bass assassins.  Here is a few pics from thispast week and hopefully the success continues...Take Care!!!

In my last email i mentioned that i am going to make a few weeks of Baffin fishing this fall and still plan to do so...these will all be wading trips with artificials and i am planning to start around the 7th of October...i have had several people interested, so if you are interested please let me know so i can try and get my schedule set and get all of you some dates...Thanks

***Please note that I am already tentatively booking duck hunts, so please get with me soon if you are needing a weekend date.  Hopefully we will have the dates for this years season before my next update...Thx

******Also Please remember Baffin Dates are open to book as of today...so if you are planning to make a trip to Baffin with me next year during the last week of January thru the first week of April...try and get a date or 2 picked out to go chase some trophy trout.
