7/25 Surf and WadeFishing
Well, we continue to get our challenges this year...Just as the fishing was falling under a typical summer pattern and the catching results were great with limits of trout everyday, Dolly had to make a visit and put another challenge on our plate. Hopefully, now that the weather has calmed down, the fishing will return to be great this weekend. The trout fishing has been great in the bays as well as in the surf. The best artificial baits have been small top waters and dark soft plastics. Looking ahead we will continue to fish the surf when it is calm and fish our local drop offs in Matagorda and Espiritu Santo Bays when the wind blows. I hope all is well on your end and wish to see ya soon on the water...
Attention: I am going to do a short visit back to Baffin this fall for a couple of weeks of fishing at the end of September thru the middle part of October...Let me know if you are interested...

******Also Please remember Baffin Dates will be open to book as of Aug 1st...so if you are planning to make a trip to Baffin with me next year during the last week of January thru the first week of April...try and get a date or 2 picked out to go chase some trophy trout.
