Detail Fishing Reports by Capt. Chad Peterek
7-11 Summer Patterns in POC
photo

As we continue to see the water and air temps rise, the fishing continues to be best on the flats early and then we head to our drop offs along the shorelines and reefs around mid-morning and fish in 3-4 feet of water for best results.  I have to say that this has been a rare year for POC fishing though.  We have had to continuously search for fish.  In years past, once we have patterned the fish, the patterned remained the same for a week or so.  This year we have to continue to look for the fish like a winter pattern.  This goes for the bay fishing at least...when we have been able to get out into the surf the fishing has been super.  Hope all of you have had a great start to your summer.
