Once again hello and hope all is well...The fishing in Port O'Connor has drastically improved over the past few weeks and limits of trout have been normal for quite awhile now. We have been catching many trout in the 21 to 25 inch range along with a few scattered redfish. On most days we have been using live croaker, but we have had success with plum soft plastics as well. The best areas have been the shell reefs of San Antonio Bay and the shorelines of West Matagorda Bay. Mother nature has been extremely tough on us all year for the most part, with the high winds and very little rain, but this past week we finally got a break in the wind and even got out into the surf a few days with great success.
